Potato Grower hosted its 30th annual golf scramble on July 20 at the Idaho Falls Country Club in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Teams consisting of four players—each connected to the potato industry—participated in the scramble-format tournament. The team of Vaughn Hopkins, Morgan, Andrus, Dallas, Andrus and Dexter Bowen took home first-place honors.
Prize money was paid out to the top seven teams, as well as to winners of men’s and ladies’ long drive competitions, and contests on each hole.
A huge shout-out goes to the Idaho Falls Country Club staff, who ensured this year’s scramble was a good time for all involved, even amid logistical limitations foisted on them by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
