UPL North America recently announced the addition of two marketing managers: Chris Nowlan and Tony Dalgliesh. In his new role, Nowlan will manage the marketing portfolio for Canada. Dalgliesh will manage the seed treatment, fungicides and horticulture portfolios for Canada.
Nowland comes to UPL with a variety of experience in sales and marketing in the agricultural and food industries. Previously, he worked as a products market manager at Corteva, where he was awarded the 2018 Pinnacle Award as the top marketing and sales leader in Canada. Prior to that, he worked as a product manager for Dow AgroSciences. Additionally, Nowlan holds an MBA from the University of Calgary.

Dalgliesh joins UPL from BASF, where he worked as a sales campaign manager. In that role, he identified, built and managed improvements for the sales teams and supported functions around the selling process and sales effectiveness. Dalgliesh also has experience as a product line manager for Cargill. He holds a degree in agriculture from the University of Manitoba.

“Chris Nowlan and Tony Dalgliesh both have tremendous agricultural sales and marketing knowledge and experience that they bring with them from their previous roles,” says UPL head of marketing Arturo Clari-Redes. “We are confident in their abilities to manage their respective portfolios and couldn’t be more excited to have them on board at UPL.”
