The North Carolina Potato Association announces the launch of its redesigned website, NCPotatoes.org. The website provides information about North Carolina potatoes, connects growers with customers, and provides valuable information regarding the latest potato research.
“The growers and I are excited to have a new site promoting both the oldest North Carolina commodity association and the benefits of North Carolina potatoes,” says NC Potato Association advisor Tommy Fleetwood.
The website highlights the North Carolina potato as “the summer potato.” The site also has an interactive grower directory. The directory allows visitors to search for growers either by varieties grown or by location. The site went live on June 19 and was designed by Raleigh’s Harvest Creations, a marketing and design company created specifically for the produce industry.
