Fort Wayne, Ind. — BW Fusion, formed from the recent merger of three established companies, appointed Darren Dillenbeck as its first CEO to provide a central point of leadership and drive future strategy. Dillenbeck joined BW Fusion after leading seven years of growth at FMC across North American markets.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Darren as BW Fusion’s first CEO,” said Gil Farley, founder of BW Fusion. “With more than three decades of experience leading transformative agriculture companies, he’s the right leader to guide our next chapter. Darren brings the vision and expertise to help us accelerate our mission of delivering innovative, effective nutritional and biological solutions to growers. We look forward to partnering with him as we continue to grow and scale BW Fusion.”
During his 30 years in the agricultural market, Dillenbeck rose from technical field representative at Dow AgroSciences to his most recent role as president of FMC North America where he led the commercial, development, and regulatory teams and developed strategies to drive growth goals and business aspirations. He has become known for his transformational leadership by setting clear expectations and accountability that result in winning cultures, which was evident when he realigned the FMC Canada business and doubled sales within three years.
“BW Fusion is faced with unique opportunities as it integrates its agronomic expertise, nutritional and biological product line, and comprehensive field management software,” Dillenbeck said. “My vision for this business is not only growth, but to also make it the most respected business in the nutritional and biological space within U.S. agriculture. This will come through living our values and delivering on our commitments to our customers.”
BW Fusion is dedicated to educating and supporting growers in making informed decisions that enhance crop productivity and promote long-term soil vitality. They do so through an education-first approach, focusing on integrating nutrients, biology, and fertility to enhance the natural abilities of plants and soil. BW Fusion supports healthier crops and soils with future-forward products that solve challenges growers often don’t see until it’s too late. This is backed by a comprehensive field management solution that includes real-time tracking, data monitoring, and soil and tissue sampling.
“I am invigorated by the potential in our BW Fusion team, how we approach our grower relationships, and the breadth of services and products we’re able to offer. I look forward to supporting growers in their quest to optimize crop nutrition for maximum crop productivity and profitability,” Dillenbeck elaborated.
In November 2024, BW Fusion merged and consolidated its product development, manufacturing, and commercial expertise with Biodyne’s 30+ years of biological research and Agronomy 365’s cutting-edge data and software tools.
