FALLS CHURCH, Va.-At the 2010 Irrigation Show in Pheonix, the Irrigation Association's Education Foundation announced that it will now be known simply as the Irrigation Foundation. To better communicate the Foundation's mission, the new tagline is: "Investing in education. Advancing the industry."
Lynda Wightman, chair of the Foundation's board of directors, announced the organization's new branding at the Irrigation Association's General Session. The Foundation was created by the Irrigation Association more than two decades ago and promotes education, career awareness and career recruitment through programs for both students and industry professionals.
