NPGA, Potato Bowl Scholarship Applications Now Available

Each year, the Northland Potato Growers Association (NPGA) offers five college scholarships to the sons, daughters, grandsons, or granddaughters of NPGA grower members and Potato Associates.  

There are three (3) $2,500 NPGA Research & Education Foundation Scholarships and two (2) $1,000 Potato Bowl USA Ambassador Scholarships. 

NPGA offers these college scholarship opportunities to individuals who meet the following requirements:

1.     Parent or grandparent must be either an NPGA member grower or an NPGA Potato Associate member. 

2.     Applicant must be graduating from high school this spring or already attending college.

3.     Applicant must have at least a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.  

4.     There is an additional requirement for the Potato Bowl USA Ambassador Scholarship. The selected scholarship applicants MUST be available to participate in a few Potato Bowl events during the week of Sept. 10-14, 2024. Do not apply for this scholarship if you cannot meet this requirement.

If the above criteria can be met, please complete the application when applying for one or both scholarships. A committee will be selected to review and evaluate applications and make the final selections.

Applications must be received in the NPGA office no later than May 13, 2024.
