UPL, a leader in global food systems, today announced the launch of a new podcast, The Root of the Matter. The series invites the brightest minds in agriculture to an open conversation about topics that affect a North American grower’s operation, livelihood and future.

“At UPL, we are committed to providing growers with the resources and solutions they need to build a successful operation,” says Craig Brekkas, head of North America for UPL. “Through our OpenAg purpose, we are driving innovation and growth in agriculture by fostering collaboration and new ways of thinking. The Root of the Matter is just one of the ways we are staying true to our vision.”

Hosted by Ken Root, a veteran farm broadcaster and agriculture expert, The Root of the Matter discusses some of the most pressing topics and features engaging experts in agriculture. Upcoming topics include emerging technologies in farming, resistance management, trade and market opportunities and much more. Root will explore these topics with leading ag experts and provide engaging, in-depth conversations and solutions for growers and stakeholders across North America.

“Staying on top of agriculture’s latest trends and developments is a full-time job,” says Root. “I am thrilled to be partnering with UPL to help deliver these insights directly to growers in an exciting and entertaining way.”

New episodes of The Root of the Matter will be available every other Monday on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts. Visit UPL’s U.S. or Canada site to listen to the first two episodes.
