Sometimes, trucks are not equipped to go off road the way we want them to, and we often get stuck. The Airdown system makes it easy for drivers to get where they want to go through the simple touch of a button. For example, when the sand/mud button is employed, within 75 seconds, the tire pressure is at 35 PSI instead 105 , providing four times the amount of tread on the ground. When you’re done going off-road, just touch the highway button, and within eight minutes, you are back to highway pressure.
Along with the central tire inflation system, everal other systems are built into it, including a GPS, a diagnostic program, and flat prevention technology. All of this is displayed on a 7-inch backlit touchscreen that provides good daylight readability. Airdown also installs a 360-degree video camera system to the vehicle that will display on the touchscreen.
