Based on counsel (see note below) to not hold large public gatherings due to COVID-19, Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) chairman Nick Blanksma has modified the March IPC meeting to only be held on Wednesday, March 25, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and to be an audio conference meeting. Only the IPC chairman and key IPC staff will be in the main IPC office in Eagle, Idaho. All others are asked to call in following the instructions located on the IPC website: https://idahopotato.com/industry/events#. Thank you for your cooperation as we try to follow best health practices for all involved.

Note: The President of the United States and the Governor of Idaho have both issued Emergency Declarations on this matter specifically directing limiting person to person contact, avoiding unnecessary group meetings, restaurants, social events and public places. The President has also stated that meetings should not be held with more than 10 people. After consultation with the Governor’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office and evaluating the requirements of the Idaho Open Meeting Law in light of the COVID – 19 virus, IPC Chairman has decided to hold a telephonic meeting only.
