Rick Davidson of MarshallIll., has joined Vive Crop Protection as the company’s Midwest regional sales manager. He is working with the distribution and retail networks to position Vive’s unique products to growers across the region.

Davidson has over 20 years of sales experience selling crop protection, fertilizer, seed and farm equipment. Most recently, he was the Midwest key accounts specialist with Shore Ag, with previous experience at Arysta Life Sciences, Cargill Hybrids, AgriGold and at a Case IH dealership. He earned his bachelor’s degree in plant and soil science at Southern Illinois University.

“Rick brings years of sales experience and relationships to Vive,” says Dan Bihlmeyer, vice president of sales and marketing  at Vive Crop Protection. “His knowledge of key Midwest markets will help get the word out about all five Vive products, but especially new Averland FC—our new fertilizer-compatible corn nematode control product that contains the Allosperse ‘delivery system in a jug.’”

Vive’s patented Allosperse Delivery System allows chemicals that were previously incompatible to be mixed with liquid fertilizer, other chemistry or hard water and applied at the right time for maximum benefit to the crop. It also saves fuel, water, time and money while increasing crop yields. Allosperse is included in five Vive-branded products.
