Christina Coen, U.S. commercial director for FMC, has been appointed to the Agricultural Retailers Association’s (ARA) executive committee and will serve a one-year term as industry representative beginning Jan. 1. Coen has been a member of the ARA board of directors, representing the crop protection and seed industry segment, and serves on the ARA member services, communications and conference committees.

“Christina is a welcome addition to our executive committee, and our nominating committee was pleased she accepted this role,” says ARA president and CEO Daren Coppock. “In her short tenure on the ARA board, Christina has been recognized as someone who provides quality input to our decisions and tells us what we need to hear.”

“It will be a privilege to serve on the ARA executive committee to support member engagement and to advocate on critical industry issues,” says Coen. “As an innovation-driven company that is distributor-aligned and retail-focused, FMC shares ARA’s mission to foster retailer success.”

FMC has been a strong supporter of the ARA, including primary sponsorship of the ARA Crisis Communications Workshop, since its inception.

“We appreciate having FMC’s participation, support and sponsorship, and working with people like Christina and the D.C.-based government relations teams on issues of mutual interest,” says Coppock.
