Helm Hires New Regulatory Affairs Leader

Helm Agro US announces the hiring of Matt Granahan as the company’s new U.S. regulatory affairs leader.

Granahan has more than 15 years of regulatory experience in the U.S. agrochemical industry. In his new role, Granahan will be responsible for overseeing all regulatory and data package clearances for the company’s crop protection portfolio, as well as the planning and execution of registration needs at the federal and state level. He will also provide corporate guidance on regulatory strategies and tactics specific to new product and formulation developments.

Prior to joining Helm, Granahan served for nine year as regulatory manager for Nufarm Americas, Inc. Prior to that, he held various regulatory, technical science and environmental compliance positions for Nufarm, Team Industrial Services, TruGreen and Environmental Consultants, Inc.

Granahan holds bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences from the University of Kentucky. He currently resides in RaleighN.C.
