A time-lapse video of Palmer amaranth plants growing during July 2014 was captured in north central Indiana by the Purdue Weed Science and Pest Management Program. Palmer amaranth plants can be observed growing next to a wooden post marked in one-foot increments. Palmer amaranth plants were tracked at a growth rate over one-inch per day.
