ReTurn XL
AMVAC recently announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Rotam North America to market and sell ReTurn XL insecticide/nematicide. With the active ingredient oxymyl, ReTurn XL provides suppression of nematodes and controls Colorado potato beetle, leafhoppers and other sucking and chewing insects.
It includes two-way foliar and soil systemic activity for above- and below-ground protection, making it an excellent pest management option for potato growers. Below-ground, ReTurn XL provides suppression of Columbia root knot, lesion and stubby root nematode. Above-ground, it provides secondary insect control and is compatible with potato psyllid control programs. It also suppresses purple top and zebra chip diseases and does not cause secondary pest flares.
AMVAC now offers a more comprehensive nematode management plan with Vapam or K-Pam applied in the fall or early spring, followed by ReTurn XL in crop.

V+M Solution is a nematode management program that combines the wide-spectrum nematicidal activity of Velum Prime with the sustained in-season nematode protection of Movento to guard against nematodes. BioCeres WP Bioinsecticide
BioCeres WP is an insect-pathogenic bioinsecticide that makes use of the Beauveria bassiana fungus. The OMRI-listed ANT-03 strain is approved for organic production and is perfectly suited in IPM programs, in a tank mix with other pesticides as well as in specific, stand-alone uses. Promax
Huma Gro’s Promax is a broad-spectrum, soil-applied fungicide and nematicide used as a preventive and curative agent. Prev-Am
Prev-Am is a three-in-one insecticide, fungicide and miticide. It is a contact pesticide that can be applied throughout the season without danger of resistance buildup and is perfect for controlling pre-harvest insect and disease infestations. With a short REI and PHI, Prev-Am is a versatile alternative to conventional pesticides and is ideal for IPM and sustainable farming practices.
Prev-Am’s desiccating properties result in quick knockdown of insects and mites, typically within two to 24 hours. The water-repellent layer protecting most insects loses its effectiveness when they come in contact with Prev-Am.
