NPC Summer Meeting in Denver

The National Potato Council (NPC) summer meeting will take place at the Brown Palace in Denver, June 28-30. Industry experts will discuss tax reform, a stable workforce for agriculture, trade issues, proposed budget cuts to potato research programs, and the 2018 Farm Bill.

The agenda contains topics as the Potatoes USA executive committee meeting; Potatoes USA fresh working group; debates on agriculture in Colorado; how Colorado consumers view agriculture and their food choices; Innate GM potato updates; and the NPC board of directors meeting.

The NPC is the advocate for the economic well-being of U.S. potato growers on federal legislative, regulatory, environmental and trade issues. The NPC supports the U.S. potato industry by monitoring issues affecting the strength and viability of the potato industry.
