The Idaho Potato Commission recently hired Matt Brigotti as its foodservice promotions director for the Northeast and Midwest. Brigotti will be based in Richfield, Ohio, and for the time being will work with Tod Schmidt, the current regional foodservice promotion director, who plans to retire in October.
“The Northeast and Midwest are high-volume markets for Idaho potatoes,” Don Odiorne, IPC vice president of foodservice, said in a news release. “We’re delighted to welcome Matt to the team and look forward to adding his front-line account management and operations, sales and service background to our resources and capabilities.”
Brigotti has more than 17 years of sales, marketing and promotion and management expertise. He has worked for Sysco Foodservice, Taylor Farms, McDonald’s and US Foods.
