The board of directors of the Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association (WPVGA) has elected Eric Schroeder of Schroeder Brothers Farms in Antigo, Wis., as its president for 2017. Schroeder succeeds Mark Finnessy of Okray Family Farms in Plover, Wis.
Josh Mattek of J.W. Mattek & Sons was elected vice president; Gary Wysocki of RPE, Inc. was re-elected secretary; and Wes Meddaugh of Heartland Farms, Inc. was elected treasurer.
In addition to the four board officers, the rest of the WPVGA board of directors includes Finnessy, who remains on the board; Steve Diercks of Coloma Farms; Ron Krueger of Eagle River Seed Farm, LLC; Rod Gumz of Gumz Muck Farms, LLC; and Andy Wallendal of Wallendal Supply, Inc.
