Potato Expo will kick off 2016 with the industry’s most wide-ranging networking and educational experience. Every year, attendees cite the opportunities to connect with others as a primary reason to attend Expo. With 46 networking hours during the Expo, plus pre- and post-Expo events, developing partnerships and creating connections is as simple as stepping out
your door.

Structured networking events include the Kick-Off Reception on Tuesday evening, plus three specialized receptions—for women, young professionals and Potato Industry Leadership Institute alumni, respectively—held Wednesday immediately prior to the special event for all attendees. This year’s event, Le Cirque des Pommes de Terre, will feature aerial acrobats and their amazing artistry, flexibility and athleticism. Join your colleagues at this modern circus with magical music, dinner, drinks and performance art. Relax and network as you watch graceful balancing dancers and admire the strength of these astounding performers.

Potato Expo 2016 will also feature dynamic speakers and the latest technological tools for the industry. Industry-leading companies with expertise in crop protection, irrigation, packaging and handling will be on hand to display state-of-the-art technology to help boost yield, teach new strategies on how to market potatoes, and increase growers’ insights on consumer demands and preferences.

Potato Expo has established itself as the place to find potato growers, industry representatives, shippers and processors in one place. Every aspect of the potato industry is covered, and the focus has expanded to include more representation from Europe, Canada, South America and Japan. The varied attendance base helps shine light on the myriad global opportunities available.

In addition to multiple countries represented, attendees hail from various career stages. Of the people who last attended Potato Expo, nearly 30 percent were first-time attendees, and more than 40 percent were president and CEO of their operation. The 2015 attendee survey also showed that 35 percent grow for the fresh market, with seed producers placing second at 20 percent. With such a large number of decision makers in attendance, combined with the new faces that are moving the industry, Potato Expo represents the ideal way to plan for the future and make new relationships to keep business going strong.

Don’t miss your chance to create new connections, cultivate business, identify trends, and find solutions at Potato Expo, January 12-14, 2016, in Las Vegas.
