When I started at the IPC 12 years ago, there were few opportunities for industry members to learn about the IPC’s activities. It hasn’t been that way for several years, as we’ve implemented a variety of communication tools the industry can use to find out what’s going on:

Meetings

IGSA Annual Meeting

At this important meeting, the IPC hosts a breakfast for all attendees, and I share the new marketing plan for the upcoming year for the first time as well as debut the national television commercial.

Whistle Stop Tours

For those who aren’t able to attend the IGSA meeting, the IPC holds a Whistle Stop Tour in Idaho Falls in November. We host a lunch and a dinner meeting all industry members are invited to attend. Our foodservice and retail divisions also host Whistle Stop Tours in eastern Idaho to share details about their programs that are specifically targeted to grocery store chains and foodservice operators.
