ANTIGO, Wis. — Spring is here and summer is on the horizon, and so is a busy schedule for the Wisconsin Spudmobile. This week, Wisconsin’s traveling billboard continues on the road to Oshkosh, Wis., for the annual Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) Farm Show at the EAA Grounds.

Welcoming thousands of attendees over three days, the event presents a great opportunity to interact with consumers as well as those involved in Wisconsin’s agricultural industry.

“There are several committees and volunteers associated with this show,” says Dana Rady, director of promotions at the Wisconsin Potato & Vegetable Growers Association. “Bringing the Spudmobile to the show for three days is a perfect fit.”

Furthermore, Rady says, the Spudmobile is representative of the great things Wisconsin’s entire agricultural community provides. “While the Spudmobile is focused on potatoes, it’s certainly a vehicle that supports Wisconsin’s entire agricultural industry,” says Rady. “Every farmer wants to protect the environment and conduct practices that are beneficial for sustainability. They also use state-of-the-art technologies in their everyday business affairs, which includes monitoring crops for irrigation requirements. The Spudmobile is a vehicle anyone in agriculture can take pride in.”
