BioSafe Systems Names Chell Manager

BioSafe Systems announces the recent addition of Ed Chell as California territory manager for the agrichemical division, supporting the crop protection, water treatment and food safety business segments. Based in Camarillo, Calif., Chell will grow and develop BioSafe’s sales goals along the Central Coast, specifically focusing on hte new TerraClean 5.0/TerraGrow program and vegetable production.

“BioSafe is excited to have Ed as a member of our western sales team and confident he’ll be an excellent performer in the California market supporting our agrichemical product line,” says Michael Larose, market segment manager for BioSafe’s Crop Protection Division. “He has positioned himself as a leader in agriculture industry and is excited to use his previous chemical sales experience, as well as his experience as a grower and loyal BioSafe Systems customer, to expand BioSafe’s reach in his new territory. I’m confident Ed will outperform expectations and strengthen BioSafe’s position in California.”

Chell comes to BioSafe Systems with a CA PCA license, and a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding farming and agronomics. Chell has worked for a variety of farming operations including BLT Farms, A. Duda Farms, Sun World and Sunrise Growers. He also has experience with Chemtura Agrosolutions and Cheminova with specific knowledge of strawberries, peppers and general vegetable productions, as well as all facets of food safety and GAP certification. Additionally, Chell is fluent in Spanish and has over five years of experience in Mexican vegetable crop production.
