MountainKing, a Houston-based producer and distributor of potatoes nationwide, has brought its new King Rustics variety of russet potato back to Walmart stores.
Grown in Colorado, King Rustics have a light tan skin and golden flesh. The potatoes have a smoother, moister and richer taste when compared to traditional russet varieties, according to MountainKing.
MountainKing Potatoes has expanded its sales by introducing products such as its Butter Gold, Butter Russet, Butter Reds and fingerlings over the years.
King Rustics will be available in Walmart stores though February, according to the company.
