Kate Suletzki, the blogger of A Cup of Sugar, a Pinch of Salt, won Food52’s Best Potato Recipe 2.0 Contest. The contest ran in partnership with the Idaho Potato Commission.
Suletzki took the prize with her Hasselback Potato Skillet Bake recipe, which calls for baby Idaho Yukon Gold potatoes, and received a $500 gift certificate to the Food52 Shop.
“Partnering with Food52 and its community of passionate foodies has proven to be a perfect way to demonstrate the versatility of Idaho potatoes,” Frank Muir, president and CEO of the commission, said in a news release. “All the entries were impressive and beautifully showcased the Idaho potato. Congratulations to Kate.”
The runner up was blogger Greg Henry, Sippity Sup, and his Cheesy Potato and Bacon“Brown Betty” recipe.
