An export workshop to learn the steps necessary to export chipping potatoes will be held Wednesday, March 2, at the Adams Mark Hotel in Jacksonville, FL.
The workshop will run from noon to 4 p.m. Lunch will be included.
The meeting is being hosted by the United States Potato Board. The training program will provide the necessary tools to U.S. growers interested in successfully exporting chipping potatoes.
In depth presentations regarding topics such as pre-handling, packaging, shipping documentaion and financing will be coverd by several industry experts.
The event is open to United States growers only.
