Idaho Pacific May Be Acquired

Announcement is expected Thursday of the pending sale of Idaho Pacific Corporation of Rigby, ID.

Rick Zirkelbach, president of the company, said Wednesday that details have not been finalized. Because the buyer is a public company, the sale will probably not be finalized for up to 30 days.

Zirkelbach said Idaho Pacific is in negotiations to be acquired because of its attractiveness and past performance.

The company owns plants in Ririe, ID, its original facility, Center, CO, and Prince Edward Island, Canada.

The three plants all produce dehy flakes used in the foodservice and retail markets.
