Montana Dates Have Been Changed

.Dates of the annual Montana Seed Growers meeting/seminar have been changed. Originally announced for November 14-15, the meeting has been moved up to Thursday and Friday, November 6-7.

Dr. Mike Sun said the program is going to be a very interesting one, with three highly recognized potato industry specialist on the program.

They include Dr. Robert Thornton of Washington State University who will speak on "Potato Seed Quality-Factors for the Future."

Dr. Dennis Corsini, ARS emeritus variety development specialist, will speak on "The Culture and Disease Management of New Potato Varieties for the Pacific Northwest."

Dr. Joe Guenthner, University of Idaho potato marketing specialist, will address the subject, "Market Forces in the Global Potato Market."
