Because customers are demanding year-round potato supplies, Colorado potato growers through their Colorado Potato Administrative Committee will establish a storage research facility.

CPAC will work closely with the Research Center Committee. The group has developed plans to construct a state-of-the-art facility. This will help growers know how to store potatoes longer and guarantee high quality.

The announcement from the CAPC says the matter has become a high priority for the San Luis Valley production areas of southern Colorado.
