The 46th Annual Famous Idaho Potato Marathon (FIPM) is right around the corner and will be hosted in a new location.
Here are some facts about the race:
Where: FIPM has a new location: Albertson’s Stadium on the Boise State University campus.
When: May 18, 2024.
What Time: Full and half marathon runners will start at 7 a.m. MDT. 5k and 10k runners will start at 10 a.m. MDT, both starting from Albertson’s Stadium.
Why: FIPM is the largest race in Idaho and is a Boston qualifier for the Boston Marathon (2025).
Sponsors like IPC, Lamb Weston’s Grown in Idaho, Teton Valley Brands, Albertsons, Boise Toy Company and more will be handing out goodies and fully loaded Idaho potatoes served after racers finish.
