The National Potato Council (NPC) will award one $10,000 academic scholarship to a graduate student (master’s degree or higher) working to improve the future of the U.S. potato industry. The deadline for the scholarship is June 15, 2016, and it will be awarded toward the 2016-17 academic year.
Final scholarship selection is based on the following criteria: past academic achievement, leadership ability, potato-related areas of graduate study, goals, benefit to the potato industry, extracurricular activities, grades and potential commercial value.
