Many arid and semi-arid regions of the world currently suffer from severe scarcity of water resources. The International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) will host a webinar Jan. 13 in which Dr. Munir Mohammad Rusan, IPNI consulting director for the Middle East region, will discuss the efficient use of irrigation water and mineral fertilizers. The webinar will explore how these two resources are crucial for developing sustainable and successful irrigated agriculture in developing countries in dry areas of the world.
