A new year is just around the corner, and that means Idaho can expect one large potato come Dec. 31.
The third-annual Idaho Potato Drop will now take place in front of the Idaho Statehouse. A wide range of activities for attendees can be expected, according to an event press release. Fireworks and live music will also accompany the event. Vendors selling food and crafts will be on-site. Attendees will also have the option to ride an Orbiter 2000 carnival ride.
All participants will be able to sign up for a free Uber ride using the special event code POTATODROP15. Some participants can also opt in for a more upscale view of the drop if they get tickets for the VIP experience at the top of the Key Financial Center Building, catered with a bar.
