The latest Big Idaho Potato Truck advertisements for the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC), featuring local potato grower Mark Coombs and ESPN reporter Heather Cox, are being filmed at various locations in Boise this week, including Albertsons Stadium.
IPC president and CEO Frank Muir said the first commercial will air on ESPN during the Boise State vs. Washington football game on Sept. 4.
A crew of about 40 people, nearly all Boise-based, produce the ads featuring Coombs in search of his Big Idaho Potato Truck.
