The Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) recently revamped its website, featuring new ways to continue consuming potatoes through fall and into the winter holidays. The site includes new recipes that use potatoes in unique ways.

The website’s easy-to-use format allows visitors to scroll past pictures of Idaho potatoes, nutritional information and recipes which incorporate potatoes into any meal or chef skill set. Recipes can be further sorted by time of day (morning, evening), type of dish (salad, soup, mashed, etc.) and nutritional profile.

The commission has more than 100 videos on its website and YouTube channel, which provide step-by-step instructions on how to prepare potatoes in various ways. A favorite is food blogger Nicole Presley’s “Navidad Tamales,” which highlight the potato’s versatility as a food staple.

Finally, Dr. Potato, the IPC’s “in-house expert,” provides consumers with tips that cover every topic from buying and storing potatoes to being resourceful with leftovers.
