To assist growers, Extension agents and consultants with the use of these products, Focus on Potato has produced a nine-minute Web seminar.
Steve Johnson, a professor and University of Maine Cooperative Extension crop specialist, narrates the presentation, according to a news release.
It will cover the differences among phosphorus-based compounds, which pathogens are controlled by the products, how to apply them to potatoes entering storage, and best practices to optimize disease control after harvest.
The presentation will be open-access through Oct. 31.
