A potato leaf sample that was POSITIVE for late blight was brought into our Idaho Falls laboratory about a half hour ago. ID was instantaneous as the lesions were actively sporulating.
A hot line message is being prepared and recommendations will be to apply a protectant fungicide immediately.
The sample came from Bingham County.
