Ruth Genger, plant pathologist at University of Wisconsin-Madison, is looking for growers who are interested in participating in potato production trials in 2014.
Genger and her team are looking at how various production practices affect weed control and potato yields. For example, if you want to test particular live mulches or compare straw mulch to your regular growing conditions, the UW team can help.
They also are looking for farmers to participate in potato variety trials. They will most likely have funding to help cover the costs of the trials.
