The Board of the Idaho Grower Shippers Association is announcing the resignation of its current president, Travis Blacker. Travis has served the industry in this capacity for four years and has been instrumental in continuing to make the IGSA a viable and important asset to its members and the entire Idaho Potato Industry.

Travis will be staying with the IGSA through Sept. 30 and has committed to train and assist the new IGSA President as needed. The IGSA is currently searching for a new president.

Blacker will assume the job of industry relations director with IPC, replacing Todd Cornelison, who has held the post for five years. Cornelison plans to devote more time to High Country, his grower-shipper business in Rexburg.

The board wishes Travis and his family the best. It thanks them for their dedication
to the IGSA and the
Idaho potato industry the last four years.
