Alexin Ag, Names New Regional Sales Manager

VISALIA, Calif.-Alexin Ag announces that Shawn Hocking has joined the company as Regional Sales Manager. Hocking will work in the potato, onions, alfalfa and tree fruit markets in eastern Washington and Idaho.

Hocking has had a varied background in agriculture. Most recently, he was the Pacific Northwest Area Manager with Purfresh's Plant Health Division. He earned a Bachelor's of Science in Agronomy from Washington State University and a minor in Soil Science.

"Shawn's experience of being raised on a local farm and recent experience in tree fruits- vegetable markets make him an ideal choice to represent Alexin Ag in the Pacific Northwest markets," said Peter Bierma, President of Alexin Ag.

Alexin Ag markets a growing portfolio of products including "Harpin" Products Employ and ProAct, mycorrhiza stimulant Myconate, as well as, Cosavet 80 DF sulfur. Alexin Ag's main focus is to bring effective novel chemistry to the vegetable and tree fruit segments.
