By 2050, we will need to double agricultural production to feed a growing population. How do we do that without further stressing our environment, bringing millions of acres of marginal land into production, depleting our natural forests and further threatening endangered species? How do we grow twice as much without further exhausting our already stressed water resources? In 700 words or less, explain how the potato industry can grow more from less to be able to feed the estimated 9 billion people by 2050. Incorporate your experiences and what you are doing to contribute to the industry in an effort to make this goal a reality. When writing your essay, consider the following aspects:
-Land Use
-Water Optimization
-Food Security
-Sustainability
