DECCO Fills New Positions

MONROVIA, Calif.-DECCO, a global leader in postharvest coatings, cleaners, sanitizers, fungicides and storage treatments for fruits and vegetables, has announced the promotion of Chad Christopherson to territory sales manager in Washington and Oregon, as well as the hiring of two postharvest treatment specialists, Mark Bailey and Mitch Sander.

Christopherson previously served for two years as tech service manager for DECCO US Post-Harvest, Inc., in the pome fruit and potato markets in North America. Prior to joining DECCO, Christopherson already had more than 12 years of sales-and-service experience in both pre- and postharvest agricultural businesses, including Yakima Fresh and other companies.

Bailey joins DECCO US Post-Harvest, Inc., as a technical representative providing technical service to DECCO clients in the Pacific Northwest. Bailey worked for Yakima Waste Systems, Inc., before coming to DECCO. He has 10 years experience in sales, service and support. He can be reached in Yakima, Wash., at (509) 494-2772.

Sander joins DECCO US as a technical representative for the pome and potato markets in North America. He will be instrumental in the development and implementation of new technologies for DECCO clients.
