Syngenta Crop Protection announced recently that the EPA has approved a shorter Restricted Entry Interval (REI) for Revus fungicide. Revus, which previously required an REI of 12 hours, now has an REI of four hours, offering greater flexibility and ease of use.
Revus, which was introduced in February 2008, contains the active ingredient mandipropamid, the first mandelamide fungicide on the market, and targets oomycete fungi, including the pathogens that cause Phytophthora blight, late blight and downy mildews. Revus is labeled for use on grapes and vegetables, including bulb, fruiting, leafy and brassica vegetables, as well as cucurbits.
