There will be a Spanish Pesticide Safety Training course, conducted entirely in Spanish, February 11 in Weiser, Idaho. There is no cost to the event, but you must RSVP to the UI Canyon County Extension office by February 5, by calling (208) 459-6003.
The safety training course will take place at the Vendome Activity Center in Weiser, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on February 11. Lunch and refreshments will be served. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., the program begins at 9 and ends at 4:15 p.m. Topics include Pesticide Handlers Safety Training, Turf IPM Focusing on Insects and Diseases, General IPM and Biological Control of Insects and Principals of Fumigation.
