Raw Material Procurement Manager, Idaho
Basic American Foods, a leader in the manufacture of dehydrated food products, has an immediate opening for a Raw Material Procurement professional.
Through field staff, schedulers, and planning coordinators this position procures raw material for all Idaho locations. Requirements include developing and implementing a multi-faceted annual budget, understanding operational synergies of multiple plants, negotiating raw material supply contracts, and cultivating internal and external relationships that enhance strategic decision making.
Minimum qualifications require a BS/BA in Business or Agribusiness or equivalent. Two or more years of experience with purchasing, materials management, plant operations, contract negotiations, and planning and inventory control. A solid understanding of purchasing policies and conditions of federal, state and local revenue sources plus computer applications of purchasing and materials management systems.
This position is located in Blackfoot, Idaho and will require minimal travel.
