PGI, UNITED-Idaho Will Meet June 28

Summer meeting of the Potato Growers of Idaho and UNITED Potato Growers of Idaho will be held in Pocatello, ID, Wednesday, June 28.

Also invited to the meeting are the southern Idaho processor group, SIPCO. and SPGI, Idaho seed growers.

The meeting, to be held at the Red Lion Hotel, beginning at 8:30 a.m. It will conclude with a meeting starting at 1:45 p.m. Lunch will be provided at noon.

The first meeting will be with SIPCO and SPGI. At 10:30, the UNITED meeting will begin, again all growers are invited.

The meeting will update growers on bargaining strategies, UNITED's strategic plan, and key policies for the upcoming year, legislative and regulatory that will impact growers.

In addition, the most up-to-date information concerning the finding of a Potato Cyst Nematode in eastern Idaho and potato tuber worms will be given.
