Nutra-Park Signs Agreement With Cerexagri

Nutra-Park Inc signed a testing agreement with DECCO-Cerexagri Inc., allowing DECCO-Cerexagri to test MasterFresh Technology products in a post-harvest environment.

In the announcement made today, it was explained that DECCO is the post-harvest agrichemical business unit of Cerexagri.

Dr. Mark Trimmer, vice president of research and development for Nutra-Park said the testing agreement is an important step as the company extends the benefits of MasterFresh technology.

"Already fruit and vegetable producers and processors are reaping the benefits of MasterFresh technology in pre-harvest applications. This agreement allows our company to team up with a recognized leader in post-harvest horticultural applications to evaluate additional benefits that the MasterFresh technology has to offer," Trimmer stated.

Nutra-Park develops naturally derived products that enhance crop ripening, marketable yield and shelf life of fruits, vegetables and fresh-cut flowers.

James Sargent, business director at Cerexagri, said his company is excited to team with Nutra-Park to evaluate the remarkable agricultural technology. "We are confident that this collaborative research effort will yield some exciting results," he stated.

Nutra-Park is a company of 35 employees in Middleton, WI.. Cerexagri employes more than 600 people at manufacturing, sales and research sites around the world. It has its headquarters in King of Prussia, PA.
