Spudnik Equipment Company LLC of Blackfoot, ID, will roll out its "second generation" 6000 Series harvesters this month.

The unveiling will take place at the annual Ag Expo, held in conjunction with the University of Idaho Potato Conference held on the campus of Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID, Jan. 20-22.

The machine features a wide-range of new options. The all-new, pivot-style axle with track-width adjustment and leveling is an all-in-one revolutionary axle concept.

In addition, the 6000 Series will offer a new axle with four tires under the machine. Weight-carrying capacity and steering angle far out-perform other axles using the same basic concept, according to Spudnik officials.

The secondary and side-elevator chains feature the lowest angles in the industry, reducing rollback and keeping mechanical bruising to a minimum.

A new 42-inch fold-over boom is optionally available. The new pulled-digger nose design provides increased soil separation, 20 percent higher as compared to pushed-digger front ends.
