Memorial services for Chuck Chollet, known throughout the potato industry as one of the first crop-protection development researchers, died Friday, November 14, in Nampa, ID.

Friends and industry acquaintenances will be able to have visitation with the family beginning at 10 a.m. at the Alsip's Funeral Chapel at 404 10th Ave., in Nampa, ID.

His wife, Rhoda, and family survive him.

He starting work with Snake River Chemical Company in the mid-1980s. Many of the products he was involved with are still used commercially today.

Chollet was also a great promoter of the academic relationship that was needed at that time.

Glen Mundt, a good friend, neighbor and fellow researcher at Snake River Chemical, has been on hand to give support to Mrs. Chollet, living only a few blocks away.
