U.S. Growers Getting 38 percent

United States potato growers received prices for September 2003 potato sales that were 38 percent of parity, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service.

The report issued this week showed that August prices hit $6.22 while prices for the first half of September were $5.28.

The $5.28 received for the first half of September compared to the $6.14 hit in 2002.
