Idaho growers are having a nice Indian summer with temperatures reaching the 80s and higher but with continued dry conditions.

The dust clouds are big, except where growers were able to obtain late irrigation water to irrigate pre-harvest.

At one point growers were facing below freezing temperatures as they started early harvest but summer conditions have returned.

The yield is average, with a smaller profile on some varieties. Most growers had to kill vines to get harvest under way. Since then, cold temperatures have killed the vines in most production areas.
