>United Agri Products Inc. announced Aug. 20, 2003, that it has formed Loveland Products Inc., to manufacture, distribute, and market high-quality agriculture products. This will consolidate all of UAP's branded agricultural products business in one place.
Additionally, UAP's crop-protection, adjuvants and seed treatments, including Clean Crop and Seedmate product lines, will now be branded, under Loveland Products Inc.
Dyna-Gro and Nortrace will be Loveland's brands for seed and plant nutrition.
The change is being made to simplify UAP's business to better serve customers and to leverage manufacturing capabilities and the Loveland name, a trusted and well-known name in the agriculture products industry.

"This change furthers our effort to provide the resources to fully service this business and allows us to better leverage the experience, technology and relationships of our UAP business units to continue to be a leader in this area and better serve our customers."
Loveland is a wholly owned subsidiary of United Agri Products and is based in Greeley, CO.
